Introduction to Wilderness Survival

Learn the basics of Wilderness survival, such as the Rule of Threes, top 10 must haves in the backcountry, top ten mistakes people make in the outdoors, wild animal safety awareness and more. This class is instructed by Jason Marsteiner, a Colorado Native and owner of The Survival University. Jason has been practicing survival techniques most of his life, began officially teaching survival in 2010 and is a former instructor of one of the largest survival schools in the world.
Class will be held at Bear Creek Nature Center. This class is for adults and children over 13 years old, and is $25 per person. Space is limited and prepaid registration is required. For more information, call (719) 520-6977. Participants can click here to register.
