Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQG)

VSQG criteria as stated in 40 CFR 262.14: “very small quantity generators of hazardous waste generate no more than 100 kilograms (about 220 pounds or 25 gallons) of hazardous waste, and no more than 1 kilogram (about 2.2 pounds or <1 quart) of acutely hazardous waste in any calendar month AND never accumulate more than 1000 kilograms of hazardous waste or 1 kilogram of acutely hazardous waste on-site at one time.” Categories include, but are not limited to: businesses, schools, churches, non-profit organizations, local governments, and rental properties.

This is a fee-based program. Drop off is Wednesday afternoons by appointment only.

Program Information
Registration Form – This is a one time registration form that must be submitted to evs-epc@elpasoco.com
Waste Acceptance Form – This form is required for every appointment. It must be submitted to evs-epc@elpasoco.com no later than close of business the Friday before your Wednesday appointment. All waste brought to the appointment must be listed on the form. (Click here for an example)
