Nature Adventures: Animal Mothers

Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Children ages 3-6, with an adult, will enjoy puppet shows or stories, crafts, hands-on activities, and discovery time on the trail. $3 per person including siblings 2 and over and adults. Prepaid registration required.

Fountain Creek Family Fun Day

Saturday, May 7, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Explore outdoor activity stations including puppet shows, dinosaur fossils, bug sweeps, kite making, pond critters, crafts, and more. Free slice of pizza for all participants from Papa Murphy’s. $4/member, $5/nonmember. FREE to active-duty military families with I.D. Reservations recommended.

2s & 3s Outdoors: Crawling Caterpillars

Active Adults Series: Spring Birding Photography Workshop at Fountain Creek

Saturday, May 21, 8:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.

Spring is a wonderful time to view birds. Join award-wining photographer, Mike Pach, as he helps you capture photos of spring migrants. All skill levels welcome. Bring your camera and tripod (optional). We will meet at Fountain Creek Nature Center. Limit 15 participants. $20 per person. Pre-paid registration is required.

Homeschool Fridays: Awesome Arthropods

Friday, May 27, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Not “bugs”, arthropods! Learn about insects, spiders, and some of their other creepy crawly relatives with a puppet show, arthropod activity, and a guided hike to catch wild arthropods. Designed for grades K-2. $4 per person. Prepaid registration required.
