Falcon Regional Park Dog Park CLOSED Wednesday, January 13, 2021

The Falcon Regional Park Dog Park will be closed on Wednesday, January 13, for installation of a raw water pipeline underneath the dog park entrance drive. During this installation, no access or detour to the dog park will be available. Large construction equipment will be present so the public is asked to avoid the area. The dog park will be reopened on Thursday, January 14.

Paint Mines Interpretive Park Improvement Project

November 2020 to February 2021

El Paso County is initiating a construction project at Paint Mines Interpretive Park that will require intermittent closures of parking lots and sections of trail. The project includes resurfacing of existing trails, decommissioning social trails, installing new culverts to prevent erosion of trails, new signage and wayfinding, and an expanded main parking area. The project will begin Monday, Nov. 16 and is expected to last through Feb. 2021.

Crews Gulch Trail Detour

Widefield Water will be doing some work on Crews Gulch Trail Jan. 5 – Jan. 12, 2021. A detour will be available. Please use caution on the trail during this time.

Temporary Parking Area Closure

The parking area located by the Archery Range and Tennis Courts at Bear Creek Regional Park will be closed temporarily for repair and resurfacing from Jan. 11-15. Please see the attached map for location.
