Learn more about iNaturalist and the importance of pollinators, then take a guided hike to look for and identify pollinators in the park! Any observations made during the month of September will be recorded under a month-long community science project called the ‘Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz’. Learn more about these fascinating creatures, meet our resident tarantula, then go on a hike searching for smaller spiders along the nature trail. Recommended ages 5+. Carve pumpkins to leave for the lighted trail at the Jack-o-Lantern event! Pre-scooped pumpkins, patterns, and carving tools provided. Return at night to see your creation in action along the trail. Pumpkins may be retrieved after 7:30 p.m.
