Crews Gulch Regional Trail

This urban trail winds through neighborhoods, along a riparian corridor and through Widefield Park. Once completed the trail will connect Bluestem Prairie Open Space to Fountain Creek Regional Park.

Temporary Detour / Closure for Crew’s Gulch Trail

Work from September 22, 2020 to October 2, 2020

El Paso County, CO, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 – As part of the Widefield Water and Sanitation project, utility contractor’s will be installing a new waterline along the Crew’s Gulch Trail located between Hwy 85 and Southmoor Drive. During this project, portions of the trail will be detoured / closed between September 22, 2020 and October 2, 2020.

Trail detour / closure signs will be along the trail while construction is taking place. El Paso County advises trail users to pay attention and proceed with caution during this time.

  • Trailhead Locations and Directions:
    The main trailhead for Crews Gulch Regional Trail is at Widefield Community Park and can be reached from Highway 85 south to Fontaine Blvd. Turn east on Fontaine Blvd. to Drury Lane.
    Another trailhead is accessible at John Ceresa Memorial Park.
